With the unfortunate passing of Pope John Paul II in recent times, Classic Bookbinders was handpicked by the Catholic Church of Western Australia to design and produce a commemorative condolence book for display in the Vatican in Rome.
An A2 size presentation folder was made to transport the leaves of the book to the Catholic churches & dioceses around the state for signing by church members. Upon return, the leaves were bound into an A2 large book in red buckram and embossed in gold with the John Paul II crest and dates and presented to the Vatican.
